OVER100YEARS OF FORGING EXPERIENCE
ELLWOOD City Forge Group is part of the ELLWOOD family of companies, boasting full integration from steelmaking through open and closed die forging, vertical and horizontal heat treatment, rough and finished machining, fabrication and welding. As a family-owned company for over 100 years, ELLWOOD has always been guided by a family culture. While we have grown significantly, we’ve never lost sight of what’s most important: genuine care for our people, our customers, and how our work impacts the world.
ECFG COMPANY OVERVIEW
On May 10, 1910, the Ellwood Citizen newspaper announced the closure of Frankford Steel Company (Tindel-Morris Company), a hammer forging shop located in Ellwood City. Brothers David and Jonathan Evans were employees of the company as managers in the machine shop and forge shop. In June 1910, with $25,000 capital and a vision to the future, the brothers founded Ellwood City Forge in the former Frankford Steel plant. From modest beginnings, Ellwood City Forge now employs over 400 people and serves customers in many industries around the world. While technology and equipment have changed dramatically over the past 100 years, one thing has remained the same—the dedication and commitment of the employees of Ellwood City Forge to serve our customers.

SAFETY IS MYJOB!
We understand that protecting our employees is a core value, and we have recently embarked on a safety journey to help ensure their safety.
Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) is an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) initiative that encourages private industry and federal agencies to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses through hazard prevention and control, worksite analysis, and training. Embracing the elements of VPP encourages ECFG management and employees to collaborate not only internally, but cooperatively with OSHA. Our goal is not just to comply with industry standards, but to exceed them! At ELLWOOD, safety is not just a word to be spoken, but a mindset, a way of being that permeates all we do. From entry level employees to executives, safety is everyone's job!
SUPERIOR DUEDATE PERFORMANCE
Our experience has shown us that our customers know exactly what they will receive when they place an order, but often must guess when it will be delivered. At ECFG, we have taken the guesswork out of forging deliveries. Most companies underestimate the cost of late shipments, but delays and back orders cost manufacturers millions of dollars each year. It is estimated that late shipments from suppliers can add more than 50% to your overall produc- tion and overhead costs. When you don’t get your parts on time you are risking:
• Greater Inventory Carrying Costs • Increased Overhead • Lost Opportunities • Customer Dissatisfaction
ECFG has the solution: No compromise on quality, product development, customer service, lead time or price Sustained reliability over the long-term With ECFG, you can have confidence in our delivery dates. To find out more about our superior due date performance — Contact Us Today!
• Reduced Sales • Decreased Margins • Less Operating Cash • Increased Cost of Sales • Higher Manufacturing Expenses
